Receptionist

Providence Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a receptionist that can provide top-notch customer service. This individual should have a positive attitude with strong communication skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous work as a receptionist or customer service is a plus.

Skills and Responsibilities

Answer and triage phone calls from clients.
Schedule appointments and schedule procedures.
Check-in clients.
Monitor client flow from check-in to Welbornarge.
Client call backs.
Managing record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices.
Client education.
Assist in cleaning.
Process payment transactions.
Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record.
Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management.
Computer skills: Able to use Windows-based computer systems, word processing, email, web search and other skills needed to effectively use the practice management software program.
Other duties assigned.

Tech/Assistant

Providence Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant with a passion for patient care to join our team. This individual should be able to work full-time and on Saturdays. We have a training program for our technicians and assistants to ensure the highest quality care is provided to our patients.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic.
Licensed Veterinary Technician is a plus.

Skills and Responsibilities

Friendly with a positive attitude.
Run and monitoring anesthesia.
Perform dental prophylaxis.
Provide inpatient and outpatient care.
Perform digital radiography procedures; including dental radiographs.
Providing client education on a variety of topics.
Must be able to lift and carry an object or pet weighing up to 30 lbs.
Handle and restrain pets as needed.

Kennel

Providence Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a hardworking, friendly Kennel Assistant. A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of animals that are in our hospital and kennel. Seasonal workers encouraged to apply.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Skills and Responsibilities

Provide daily care for animals.
Cleaning and sanitizing kennels/ following proper disease control protocol to ensure a sterile environment.
Transporting animals to and from the kennels.
Disposing of waste and trash within a timely manner.
Observe patients for obvious signs of health concerns and report any findings to senior staff.
Prepare patient meals, clean patient cages and bedding, and maintain litter boxes.
Safely approach and restrain patients as needed during treatments.
Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs.
Other duties assigned.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
